Jim is a new arrival here at BookPeople, but no stranger to the wild world of books. He comes to us from Seattle, where, most recently, he was an Event Wrangler for Third Place Books. He’s also done his fair share of author event acrobatics at University Book Store and Elliot Bay Book Company. When you see Jim, ask him what’s new and notable. He has tons of great recommendations!

1. Noble Hustle by Colson Whitehead
2. Steady Running of the Hours by Justin Go
3. Dear Committee Members by Julie Schumacher
4. Museum of Extraordinary Things by Alice Hoffman
5. Queen of the Tearling by Erika Johansen
6. How to Succeed in Business Without Really Crying by Carol Leifer

Personal Favorite Reads of 2014 (in no particular order)
